Wow, it feels good to be home and see my family!!! I know, I know…I haven’t updated in forever. I have had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving weekend!!! I love my family! I flew in last Monday and I am leaving tomorrow. My Mom, Grandma (Meaw), My sister (Katelynn) and I are driving from here to GA. They will get to stay about a week with me and I am so excited!!! I can’t wait to show them where I live, where I work,  where I go to church and where I shop *grins*. I got to spend a lot of the weekend holding my new little nephew. He is the cutest baby in the world and so precious!!! It was so good to see him for the first time. He is adorable!!! Maybe I will post some pics later.

Family is a precious thing. They are always there for us. I am going through this book with my small group called Sacred Marriage. We talked last week about how sometimes it is hard to serve those who are closest to us. We tend to take them for granted and we wouldn’t dream of treating anyone else the way we sometimes treat them. The book talks about how marriage can be practicing grounds for relationships. I thought about it later and decided that family is practicing grounds for relationships as well. When we learn to love and serve those who we know frontwards and backwards, we can learn to love and serve others. When we represent Christ to our family, we can represent Him to others so much better. Being away from my family for the last five months has made me  appreciate them so much more and made me think about what I took for granted. I am so thankful for them and have enjoyed spending the last week with them. Thank you, my wonderful family! I miss you guys so much!!! Love ya’ll!!!

I also got to spend Friday afternoon and  night with my best friend!!! We had a blast! We stayed up way too late and drank Starbucks double shots for the first time . It did not affect us in the slightest (we were a little disappointed ). I love your apartment girl, it is so cute! Our time together was priceless as always. I miss you so much! Thanks for everything! Love ya!

I am thankful for all my friends. I know I am not the best at staying in touch, but I really do appreciate you. I would not make it very long without you guys! God has put each of you in my life for a reason and a purpose. Thanks for being there for me!

I also wanted to say that I am thankful for all my TeenPact friends/sisters/brothers. You guys are awesome and you make my job the best in the world!!! God has also put each of you in my life for a reason and a purpose.  I am looking forward to this next season and getting to know you even better. Thanks for all the fun, serious, spiritual and wonderful times and memories we have had!

Well, that is all I have time for right now.

 God Bless!

I know what Katrina needs for Christmas….a digital camera!  So Bryn can see the white house’s *green* living room.  Yes she does!

Well, I’ve tagged you too.  Everybody keeps beating me to people.  Now you’ve GOT to do it.  Post your 5 weird habits and tag five more people.  NO tag-backs!
